This was apparantly going to be the next wave of Jakks Thumb Wrestlers to be released. Based on the feuds going on at the time the 2-packs were most likely going to be: Bret Hart vs The Patriot, Goldust vs Brian Pillman, Faarooq vs Ahmed Johnson, and Crush vs Rocky Maivia.

Here's a very cool bunch of prototypes that surfaced in Japan. I'm almost 100% sure they are Jakks figures because these two cats pictured to the left are obviously supposed to be the hardcore tandem of Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie, aka Terry Funk. Perhaps these were for a series that never got off the ground? As you can see in the pics below, these are solid molds, the thumbies haven't been hollowed out yet. In the last pic you can see a third prototype. I haven't been able to figure out who he's supposed to be. It's probably someone who was pretty prominent on WWF TV around the first half of 1998, any ideas?
